Goal of the Project

Robyn G. Adams, Book Bank USA Executive VP, with Autodesk USA team members for a “Global Reading” Book Drive and Book Fair, May 7 – May 11, 2007. This was one of several book drives through Autodesk, resulting in over 175 cases of donated books.

The goal of Book Bank USA was originally stated as books for those who want them and a place to read them. That premise has grown in many ways, including cultural exchanges between schools in different countries. Additionally, computers and software were donated to underprivileged communities to provide the opportunity for those less fortunate to enter into the computer and technology age.

We also felt that it was important for us to develop educational programs in health for both the young and the elderly since health has become one of the major issues on the American and global scene today. All of us associated with Book Bank USA believe that there is a great deal of value in culture, education and person-to-person interchange for the sake of intellectual stimulation and growth.
