Project Methods and Resources

Since Book Bank USA donated a bookmobile to the city of Jerusalem, our organization has proven itself as a tried and true program working behind the scenes. Letters of gratitude and response for our generosity from the US and developing countries have been most rewarding.
We have established contacts over the years to ensure collection, storage, shipment and delivery of books, computers and other educational materials worldwide. Librarians and teachers give their time to select books, volunteers help with the proper packing, and we ship using the most economical means possible.
Funding is sought from philanthropic organizations, corporations and individuals. Book Bank USA is heavily reliant on volunteers. It employs only one paid warehouseman and a few part-time assistants.
A National Advisory Board consisting of prominent writers and artists was founded soon after Book Bank USA was born. New members have joined us recently, but we have kept the names of the original members to honor their very significant contributions. We hold it as a great privilege to have them associated with our goals.
