Adriana Williams

Adriana Williams is a writer and granddaughter of Mexican Ex-President Plutarco Elías Calles. A Covarrubias specialist, she wrote the definitive biography of Miguel and Rosa Covarrubias published in 1994, Covarrubias in Bali in 2005, and Rosa Covarrubias: An American Who Loved Mexico in 2007. She edited The China I Knew by Rosa Covarrubias, a letterpress book designed by Protean Press. She has contributed with numerous articles to books, catalogues, and university publications on the Covarrubiases. She has given and continues to lecture on Rosa and Miguel Covarrubias in local and international venues. Download her profile
